How can I contact ScanMemories?

How do I send photos to ScanMemories?
Once you place the order, we will send you a booking number and address details on your mail. Please write the booking number on the box in which you will be sending us the photos. Courier us the box to our address (preferable with tracking option).
Do you have pick-up facility for collecting the photos?
We can arrange for a pick-up within Mumbai and Thane through third-party services like Borzo. The charges will be applicable on actuals
Can I drop my photos by myself to your facility?
With prior appointment you can visit us and drop your photo at a mutually convenient time
How do I pack the photos?
Make packets of photos according to the folder structure you want for digital photos and provide the name of the folder, date and year (if available) on each packet. If you are giving us albums please mention name of the folder, date and year (if available) on the album. Please pack all the packets and albums in plastic sheets to avoid any damage during transit. Pack the packets in a sturdy cardboard box. Fill the box with packing material like paper balls to avoid displacing of loose photos within the box.
Resolution & quality
What resolution are my photos scanned at?
We offer scanning at 300 DPI or 600 DPI. Our advice to you will be choosing the resolution based on how you wish to use the digital copies. 300 DPI is the ideal resolution if you want to use the photos in digital format. It is also preferred resolution for sharing your digital photos. You go for 600 DPI resolution if you want to reproduce the images in print. Please note the file size of 600 DPI digital photo will be more than the file size of 300 DPI digital photo.
What do you mean by image quality improvement?
In our ScanPhotos service, we colour correct the digitised image through computerized settings which includes improvement of colour, sharpness, contrast and other aspects affecting image quality. This coupled with the right resolution provides you an image quality way better than what you would get by scanning on mobiles or home scanners.
Delivery & sharing
How will you share the digital photos with us?
We will upload the photos on file transfer platform. You can download the photos from the link and take backups at your end, preferably on cloud. We will delete the photos after a month from the file transfer platform as well as from our system for your privacy
